ABOUT FRACTANGLES

Like most people, I think about all kinds of things.

One day, I was thinking about fractals and rectangles and came up with a new idea and, at the same time, a new word: fractangle.

It wasn’t in any dictionary, and I couldn’t find it on Google.

For a while it was just mine, but it isn’t any more – last time I googled there were nearly 12,000 results. Now there will probably be more.

What happened?    

It seems I wasn’t the only one thinking about fractangles, though I may have been among the first.

And now that enough people are using this word, its time has come.
